Welcome to the heart of our village

Our much-loved, picturesque village hall has a welcoming atmosphere and is the ideal venue for all types of meetings, parties, dances, music nights, keep fit and craft classes, small wedding receptions and social gatherings.

The hall was built in the mid-19th century and is run by a volunteer committee made up of regular users and members of our community. It was built to accommodate a wide variety of activities and functions and has a maximum capacity of 80 people.

Each year, Wimborne St Giles holds an annual charity Church Flower Festival. This event includes delicious homemade refreshments in the village hall. All money raised goes to help with the maintenance of the church.

The Facilities

The main hall has double doors leading to the bar area which can also be accessed via a separate entrance to the side of the building. As well as men’s and ladies’ toilets, there’s an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities. The hall has a stage, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of indoor and outdoor tables and chairs and a lovely garden at the front with a car park to the side.
